Job Description
In this Kitchen leadership hands-on role, your eye for detail will help you excel. You will love leading and motivating your team to drive company strategy in all elements of the business.
1. Leading the lounge chef team and being the face for culinary in our Lounge.
2. Monitoring the kitchen area and the staff to ensure standards are maintained.
3. Training new lounge employees on the Company Standards and Regulations.
4. Monitoring performance of the CDP’s and Commis chefs.
5. Ensuring all food products are prepared up to the Company Standards.
6. Overseeing the Lounge kitchen operations.
7. Leading teams and distributing job tasks.
8. Communicating with customers and answering all menu queries.
9. Keeping the kitchen fully equipped with all the tools and inventory.
10. Ensuring that the quality of food is consistently high and that hygiene standards are met and exceeded.
11. Being the lead point of contact between our Hub kitchen and Lounge operation.
12. Assisting staff with food prep, plating, and kitchen orders.
13. Creating and distributing shift plans.
14. Assisting on menu presentations.
Qualifications
1. Passion for food and ability to deliver top-end culinary offerings.
2. Strong communication and people management skills.
3. An ability to stay calm under pressure.
4. Strong leadership skills to motivate your brigade of chefs.
5. High school diploma or equivalent.
6. Level 2 Food Safety and HACCP.
7. Fluent in English, oral & written, with excellent communication skills.
