I am currently recruiting for a Sous Chef in Northwest London for a small café in a production kitchen.
The site is looking for a talented Chef with experience in cooking fresh produce, catering up to 250 per day.
This is customer facing role. You will all work together in the kitchen. Barista experience is a bonus.
Offering a great work life balance. Early starts and finishes. Predominantly Monday to Friday with the option to work weekends, on top of your salary.
What's Required:
Previous Catering experience as a Sous Chef orSenior CDP.,preferably within high volume restaurants or contract catering environment.
Confident working in a busy kitchen and possess prior experience supervising staff.
A high level ofprofessionalism, with respect for others, and a positive attitude towards the day-to-day workload.
Must be confident in completing end of day checks and paperwork. Knowledge of due diligence is a requirement.
Experience in producing food of a high quality.
A current level 2 Food Hygiene and Allergen certificate
Valid right to work in the UK.
Be flexible in approach, self-motivated and well organised.
A knowledge of Indian Cuisine is an advantage but not essential.
