Reward Manager/Senior Reward Consultant

£70,000–£90,000 (dependent on experience) + excellent benefits
Iconic Resourcing are working with a global business who ae looking to recruit an experienced Reward Manager/Senior Reward Consultant to take ownership of end-to-end reward processes as well as drive strategic and operational initiatives.
This role is pivotal in developing and implementing a comprehensive reward strategy, aligning it with the business's goals and values while ensuring market competitiveness.
You will play a critical role in providing data-driven insights, designing recognition schemes, and partnering with senior leaders to address organisational challenges and drive meaningful solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement reward roadmaps and annual strategic initiatives.
* Align reward strategies with business objectives for specific areas, considering unionised and non-unionised environments.
* Provide expert guidance to senior leaders (CFO, COO, Directors) on reward challenges and opportunities.
* Manage the 360° reward cycle, including annual salary reviews, job evaluation, grading, benchmarking, and employee positioning.
* Analyse internal and external data, including industry trends and market surveys, to ensure competitive pay and benefits.
* Address challenges such as attraction and retention of talent, including tailored strategies for high-demand roles.
* Collect, analyse, and interpret reward-related data to inform decision-making and provide actionable insights.
* Build and maintain reports and matrices to support strategic recommendations to the business.
* Ensure integration with organisational design processes, providing input on grading and benchmarking.
* Negotiate with union representatives (experience preferred but not essential—training can be provided).
* Partner with key stakeholders across the business to embed reward principles and address challenges effectively.
* Design and implement recognition schemes that enhance employee engagement.
* Review and refine health, benefits, car allowances, and bonus structures to ensure market relevance.
What we’re looking for:
* Extensive experience in reward, with a strong foundation in data analytics, job evaluation, grading, and benchmarking.
* Proven ability to work across both strategic and operational reward functions.
* Demonstrated experience collaborating with senior leaders, providing insightful recommendations and influencing decision-making.
* Familiarity with union negotiations is advantageous but not essential.
* Commercially savvy with a keen eye for market trends and industry context.
* Agile and adaptable, capable of managing complex, fast-paced environments.
* Proactive and innovative, with a track record of taking ownership and driving projects beyond core responsibilities.
