Job Title – Sales Executive – Award-Winning Tour Operator
Job Location – London
Salary – £21k – £22k basic with a £30k OTE
Our client is a globally recognised, award-winning tour operator, providing luxury holidays in Asia and South America.
They are looking to recruit a positive, friendly and results-driven individual to join the tours tailor-made reservations team.
You will be a part of the team that ensures clients have a holiday of a lifetime, whilst also building relationships with travel agents. Training will be provided so that you will fast become a destination expert.
Responsibilities:
* Building tailor-made holidays for direct clients and through travel agents
* Providing customer service via live chat and email
* Chasing up existing enquiries
* Upselling to customer to maximise revenue
* Advising customers on extensions and stopovers
* Converting bookings
* Working with suppliers and DMCs to create the ideal itineraries for clients
* Working with agents and clients and building rapport
Key Skills/Experience Needed:
* Strong commercial awareness and a keen interest in travel
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise
* Strict attention to detail
* Ability to multitask whilst working to tight deadlines
* Ability to work calmly under pressure during busy periods
