Day-to-day of the role: Assist the Head Chef in the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation. Supervise and train kitchen staff, promoting a culture of professionalism and excellence. Manage inventory and order supplies while keeping cost controls in mind. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area. Develop and introduce new recipes and menus, reflecting seasonal availability and current culinary trends. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment at all times. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as a Sous Chef or a similar role. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team. Excellent cooking skills with a strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
