We have a new opportunity for a Salesforce Automation Tester to join the team on a hybrid basis is Leicester. The role will be responsible for the design, development, and execution of automated tests to ensure the highest quality and functionality of our software products. This role necessitates meticulous attention to detail, advanced technical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with developers and other stakeholders to identify and resolve issues. Key Responsibilities Test Automation Development: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks to validate software functionality and performance. Test Planning: Collaborate with the testing team to formulate comprehensive test plans and strategies that align with project requirements and timelines. Test Execution: Execute automated tests, analyse results, and report defects and issues in a clear and concise manner. Continuous Integration: Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline to ensure timely and efficient testing. Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to ensure the quality and maintainability of automated test scripts. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test scripts, and test results. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on software quality and usability. Problem Solving: Investigate and troubleshoot issues identified during testing to determine root causes and potential solutions. Qualifications Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in test automation, software testing, or a related field. Technical Skills: Familiarity with Salesforce Core & CPQ. Certinia experience would be advantageous. CI/CD Tools: Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to a non-technical audience. Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications Certifications: ISTQB Certification or equivalent professional certification in software testing. Experience: Experience in performance testing, security testing, or mobile application testing. Agile Methodology: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
