E.ON is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Testing Intern to join our team. As a Data Testing Intern, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our data systems. You will work closely with our data analysts to test and validate data, identify discrepancies, and contribute to the improvement of our data quality processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the development and execution of data testing, plans and strategies.
* Perform data validation and verification to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
* Identify, document, and report data discrepancies and issues.
* Collaborate with key team members to resolve data quality issues.
* Collate the analysis and provide interpretation of test results.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of data testing methodologies.
* Maintain detailed documentation of testing procedures and results.
What we need from you
* Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Basic understanding of data testing principles and methodologies.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Interest in data quality, testing and qualitative reporting
Here's what you need to know
* Flexible working arrangement (anything between 10 and 37 hours a week)
* Flexible contract length to fit your studies (with a minimum commitment of 2 months), with flexible start and end date
* £24,007 pro rata salary
* Hybrid working model (with a minimum of 40% in our Coventry office)
* Guidance and supervision as and when it's needed
