The role will be selling event sponsorship, digital solutions and event space for their health & wellbeing focused portfolio of events. Having trebled in size in the last 3 years, they are now looking to expand their sales team further and you will have every chance to progress as they continue to grow. There is also international travel required to attend their own and competitor events. The company was established over 7 years ago, delivering successful events across the UK, US and EU. They are now a team of 40 and promote a flexible and healthy work environment, with designated time out to keep fit and flexible working hours. About the role: - Selling exhibition space, sponsorship and digital solutions - Manage all incoming enquiries efficiently and professionally - Generating new business opportunities - Managing and upselling on existing accounts / rebooks -Managing the full sales process through to close - Face to face meetings with clients - Sales related administration - Efficient use of the CRM system and accurately inputting data - Attending company events and competitor shows in the UK and internationally. The ideal candidate: - Ideally 2 years experience in a B2B sales role - B2B event/exhibition/conference or media sales experience is preferred, however training can be provided for someone looking to move into the events sector - Must have experience in generating new business as well as nurturing existing accounts - Ability to generate own leads and effectively follow up on incoming leads - Consultative sales approach - A sense of humour - Interest and/or experience in the health and wellbeing sector would be an advantage - Right to work in the UK.
