This role requires enthusiasm, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities, presenting technical products, and securing sales. You will be supported by a structured internal and external development pathway, giving you the training and skills needed to succeed and grow within the company. Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers through regular on-site visits. Delivering engaging product presentations and demonstrations Generating leads, following up on sales inquiries, and closing deals. Collaborating with internal teams (production & logistics) to ensure smooth order fulfilment. Staying up to date with industry trends and competitor activities. Attending trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events. Maintaining accurate CRM records and providing regular sales reports. Undertaking a structured Sales Development Programme, supported by both internal training and external learning opportunities. What Were Looking For Essential: A strong work ethic, with a positive and driven attitude towards sales. Good level of secondary education (Maths, English, Science). Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Excellent communication and negotiation skills Willingness to travel and work independently. Full UK driving license. Desirable: A relevant degree (e.g., Business, Engineering, Materials Science). Some experience in sales, account management, or customer service. Knowledge or interest in manufacturing and engineering. Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce).
