Well established 4-star spa hotel is looking for a Sous Chef to join the team. This hotel offers a luxury spa, busy leisure trade as well as weddings all year round so being able to multi task and stay calm under pressure is a quality needed. You will work under a long-standing Executive Head Chef who has a reputation for being one of the best in the area.
The role:
* Day to day running of kitchen and supporting the Executive Head Chef
* Hands-on role which will be creative and exciting at the same time
* Working within the team to create exciting specials and guest’s experiences.
* Supervision of team members
* Following guidance of all aspects of food safety including recording of temperatures and deliveries
The candidate:
* Established Sous Chef looking to join a stable team.
* Able to work unsupervised using prep lists.
* Wants to improve and learn
* Good food knowledge and keeping up with trends.
* Good attention to detail
* A natural leader
* No Ego- this is a well organised team who work well together
