Our client is a global leader in Building Management Solutions (BMS), with over 100 years of expertise in developing and delivering advanced automation solutions for commercial and residential buildings. In addition to large-scale BMS projects, they have an established and growing distribution network supplying high-quality BMS components.
Sales Executive Roles/Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a regional sales strategy, ensuring strong engagement with distributor partners.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for distributors, providing expert advice and support.
* Provide competitive proposals and estimates, aligning with client expectations.
* Work closely with the technical and administrative support teams to optimize sales efforts.
* Conduct product training and workshops for distributors, system integrators, and end clients.
* Deliver technical presentations to prospective customers, positioning products as the preferred choice.
* Identify and engage new potential clients, developing strong business relationships.
* Maintain accurate CRM records to track activities and opportunities.
* Monitor market competition, reporting on pricing, delivery trends, and competitor activity.
* Prepare monthly reports to contribute to overall business performance analysis.
Sales Executive Qualifications
* 3+ years’ experience in the UK BMS industry, preferably in sales or distribution.
* Proven track record of consistent sales growth and account management success.
* Strong financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to make sound business decisions.
* Deep understanding of HVAC, mechanical plant operations, and BMS component products.
* Experience with valves, actuators, and peripherals from either Sauter or competitor brands.
* Highly motivated, capable of working independently and within a team.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
* High attention to detail, with a focus on continuous process improvement.
