Overall Purpose and Aim of Job Role
To work within the sales Team - Explore sales opportunities in different sectors including automotive that fit within the capabilities of the Group. Build a strong client base with key accounts. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner who has strong negotiating skills and the ability to showcase offerings in a compelling way. Required to give presentations and attend networking events and trade shows, must be a person who is personable and professional.
Roles & Responsibilities - Key Tasks
1. To work within the current sales team, look to bring in new sales opportunities not necessarily in the automotive environment that fit within the capabilities of the Group.
2. Identify prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage the sales cycle to close new business in all service categories.
3. Possess in-depth knowledge, prepare concise and accurate reports, proposals, and other required documentation for sales presentations.
4. Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following a defined selling process.
5. Coordinate with other sales representatives to ensure that quotes are being met and company standards are being upheld.
6. Maintain cost management in line with project delivery, ensuring that add/deletes, PCRs, and deviations are recorded and agreed with customers & internal stakeholders in a timely fashion.
7. Responsible for effective communication between internal and external stakeholders.
8. When required, visit customer operations, outsource suppliers, and other company locations (UK & Potentially International).
9. Document customer meetings and engagements to maintain customer satisfaction and project integrity.
10. Capture appropriate information to conduct constructive post-project & gateway 'Lessons to be Learned' meetings.
Person Specification
Technical/IT and Education Requirements
Essential
Microsoft products Word/Excel
Three or more years of sales experience within a similar industry.
Desirable
Knowledge of Access Accounting.

3. Product Knowledge and Industry Experience.
4. Proficiency with sales management software and CRM.
5. Ability to negotiate win-win agreements.

8. Good knowledge of Risk Management.

10. Strong Relationship Building.
Desirable level of competency
1. Proficiency with sales management software and CRM.
2. Proven success rate at levels above sales quota.
