Whilst this role will predominantly be Restaurant/Banquet focussed you will be expected to deputise in the Head Chefs absence, as well as take on other duties around the Kitchen.
Responsibilities:
* Assisting the Head Chef with the day-to-day kitchen operations
* Helping to drive service at the highest level Ensuring consistent quality standards is maintained Training Junior members of the team
* At all times ensuring that the highest standards are consistently met.
* Assisting the Head Chef in implementation of COSHH and Health & Safety rules
* Maintain a consistently smooth-running operation.
* Continuously check food quality and presentation coming from the kitchen
Requirements:
* Be an experienced Sous Chef who has been used to working in hotels.
* Familiar with financial reporting, budgeting and labour productivity.
* Experience with training, coaching, and strong leadership skills
* Outstanding work ethic Guest-focused and service-driven.
