One of the most elegant country house hotels in the Cotswolds, Buckland Manor is part of the AA Hotel Group of the Year 2017-18 and is tucked away in a tranquil corner of the village of Buckland, next to the old village church. Job Description
Salary: £35,000 to £38,000 per annum, plus service charge
Service charge can be in the region of £305 a month (around £3,600 per year) over and above base pay, for a full time employee.
Role: As a Sous Chef, you will be working alongside the Head Chef to run a busy kitchen. You will be creating exciting and delicious dishes to be served to guests, in our 3 AA rosette restaurant.
This role would suits someone who has worked in a similar environment previously.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Preparation of fresh food
· Leadership of a section
· Using your advanced Knife skills
· Having an advanced knowledge of allergens
· Partaking in the cleaning rota
· Labelling of food on your section
· Completing daily kitchen audits
· Writing allergen matrix
· Ordering stock on Procure Wizard
· Management of kitchen team
· Running of service
· Kitchen staff rotas
