Luxury department store, Harvey Nichols, has a rare opportunity for a new Head Chef to join its Second Floor Brasserie in Manchester.

The salary for this position is £17 per hour, plus a competitive service charge (TRONC). You will collaborate with our hospitality, marketing, and management teams to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen and associated events.

About the role…
As a Head Chef, you will be helping to ensure our customers enjoy a memorable 5* experience. You will:
* Provide ideas and prepare great food not only for our customers but ensure the team members are also following those skills.
* Deal with the recruitment process of chefs and liaise with senior managers.
* Organise daily delegation of duties to all chefs.
* Maximise sales by making informed recommendations and suggestions to the executive chef.
* Oversee the smooth running of a section.
* Work closely with your team and celebrate fabulousness wherever you see it.
* Maintain a high standard of hygiene, health, and safety in your area.
* Be flexible, as customer service can’t wait during weekends and evenings.
