This hybrid role offers flexibility with a mix of remote and in-office work, subject to certain conditions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in logistics sales, with a focus on the European markets being a benefit. Key Responsibilities: - Sales Generation: Identify and generate leads in the logistics industry to meet and exceed sales goals. - Client Engagement: Develop strong relationships with clients, handle negotiations, and close deals effectively across all levels. - Market Focus: Serve clients in Belgium, Germany, and the Netherlands, with a bonus if you have experience in the Iberian market. - Presentations & Client Visits: Prepare and deliver engaging sales presentations. Regularly visit existing and prospective clients. - Sales Strategy: Assist in determining price structures and tariffs, providing client quotes, and following up on leads. - Reporting & Coordination: Prepare management reports and coordinate sales and marketing efforts to drive business growth. - Client Onboarding: Handle client setup, customs formalities, and establish credit terms. - Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers, addressing any issues or complaints. - Competitor Analysis: Conduct competitor and market analysis to inform pricing and sales strategies. - Travel: Be prepared to travel both within the UK and abroad as required. Skills & Qualifications: - Proven experience in logistics sales, especially in the Belgium, German, Dutch, or Iberian markets. - Strong self-motivation and a results-driven attitude. - Excellent negotiation skills and ability to close deals. - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). - Excellent communication skills and a commitment to customer service. - Ability to attend trade seminars, exhibitions, and network events. - Willingness to travel when necessary.
