* You will have ideally at least 6+ months experience in a new business sales/commercial role.
* There will be KPIs in this role around 50 outbound (warm) - along with Phone & Email (from inbound leads) per day.

A global initiative that champions the strategies and solutions that can fast track industrial decarbonisation. Launched in January 2020, they are a growing start-up with an experienced leadership team, all committed to supporting energy intensive sectors in this complex work.
They are comprised of a private members network, an international events series, reports, and a podcast series. Their clients are leaders in sectors including cement, metals, refining, chemicals, glass, and ceramics – all of which face significant challenges if they are to decarbonise and meet legislative deadlines, in addition to the expectations of investors and customers.
They are seeking a positive, smart, collaborative, and high energy candidate to help them grow their Industrial revenue and attendance across their Events and Decarbonisation Leaders Network whilst helping them identify new opportunities to serve their audience. You will have ideally at least 6+ months experience in a new business sales/commercial role.

Membership Executive: The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate with up to 12 months commercial experience to join the team with a specific mission to develop a new book of sales. You’ll be responsible for outreach to industrial companies and the ecosystem more generally, prospecting new leads, leveraging enquiries and developing a strong pipeline of contacts from which you’ll close a regular flow of monthly deals.
Your responsibility is to build new business for the membership and to sell tickets to attend their international conferences. You’ll be responsible for recruiting new, high-level members taking them from initial call on to paid 12-month subscriptions for individuals and teams. You’ll build strong working relationships with your clients and will work closely with the Community Manager and Founder to ensure that they get value from their engagement at all stages.
You’ll be tasked with sourcing new clients across North America, Europe and MENA whilst working with the team on future geographical expansion. You’ll take time to get to know their membership offering and will contribute to the plan for outreach. Essentials:
* Must want to focus on new business development - growing commercial revenue for their network
* An intellectually curious graduate with demonstrated interest in climate and sustainability
* You’ll have experience of working autonomously whilst being an effective collaborator
* A skilled communicator, you’re comfortable with KPis linked to outreach by phone, zoom as well as email
* Curious about what makes other people tick
* Driven by commercial growth and love the winning of new sales
* Evidence of a sourcing and build your own leads – not only using existing data
* Demonstrable ability to take an existing pitch, iterate and sharpen it to produce results
* A strong new business generator with evidence of your results
* Articulate, excellent written English, someone who takes pride in their communication and avoids spamming
* Understands phone as well as email is a strong route to business.
* Someone who understands and can show they have used social media to build their professional presence, becoming someone who people ‘want to do business with’
KPI’s:
Daily and weekly targets for dials, conversations and email follow up
Tasked with 12-15k monthly revenue target
Role responsibilities
Source leads and focus on outreach: Research and connect with high value membership targets across the globe, create an engaging process from first call to on-boarding
Time management: You’ll sell across both the membership and into the conferences, and will effectively manage your time across both.
Consistently high energy: You’ll work closely with their Community Manager as well as their Sales and Marketing team – you’ll be a self-starter and responsible for maintaining your own high productivity.
Sharp execution: Build, execute and monitor your pipeline to ensure on-target sales performance. You will own your pipeline end to end and be responsible for ensuring you have active growth at all stages, using marketing leads and developing your own leads/
Recruit high profile people from industry: While you’ll be selling to both industry and the wider ecosystem, you’ll take pride in their balance of 90% industrial membership (essential to the quality and growth of the overall network)
Writing that sells: Fluent in English and with excellent academics, you’ll write effective sales copy and craft persuasive unique selling points and messages in all aspects of your work.
Become the expert: You’re a high performer who has natural curiosity and who will create their own daily research pattern to build their knowledge of their work and who’ll ensure they understand the real drivers and challenges that heir clients face. This is not a passive role – but one that rewards intellectual curiosity as well as high levels of outbound activity.
Equal focus on revenue growth and client service: We need someone who takes seriously the needs of their audience and community and helps us translate this into products, experiences and engagements that serve clients well. Equally, you’ll be a clear commercial thinker with the ability to take in large volumes of information and work out how we can convert these insights into useful products and activities.
