Job Description: Sous Chef at The Lamb, Shipton under Wychwood
We are seeking a hardworking and enthusiastic Sous Chef to join our team at The Lamb in Shipton under Wychwood. This position offers the opportunity to work with modern, seasonal British cuisine using local producers.
Position Details:

Location: Shipton under Wychwood, just 20 minutes from Witney, 10 minutes from Chipping Norton & 10 minutes from Burford.
We have built an excellent reputation for freshly prepared and often locally sourced food. Our menu changes monthly with weekly specials each weekend. We support our head chef Matt and are looking for someone eager to support and grow within our small, family-style team.
This role is ideal for a chef looking to progress their career in a busy, established environment. Our cuisine includes classic nose-to-tail, pizzas, British pub-style food, game, and offal, with minimal unnecessary fuss.

Requirements for the Sous Chef:
* Previous experience as a sous chef or as a Chef de Partie seeking the next step
* Positive attitude, good communication skills
* Commitment to high standards of cooking and preparation
* Excellent personal presentation
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
