We have a fantastic and interesting opportunity to join Santander as a Testing Lead within our Payment Centre of Excellence (PCoE), this team powers payments for Santander UK (Group).
As a team, PCoE, plays a key role in the successful development and delivery of Group’s Payments strategy and future scalable payments platforms. We have a role to play both internally and externally to build outstanding customer payments propositions, as well as modernisation and moving the payments capabilities forward, against the industry and regulatory developments for the benefits of customers and our businesses.

The difference you’ll make:
1. Developing and delivery of control frameworks to ensure processes and services for business area adhere to established standards and time frames
2. Implementing automation strategy, automation frameworks and applying automated tools to support application testing
3. Analysing and identifying User Acceptance Testing, utilising knowledge of payment flows to develop processes for the delivery of the testing, including the support of industry testing
4. Strategizing and implementing DevOps, Application Lifecycle Management and Agile Solutions in large Enterprises
5. Contributing towards the implementation and adhere to continuous integration practices, including build automation, test automation, fast builds and clean build maintenance
6. Working closely with both internal stakeholders and external service suppliers to ensure Service Agreements are adhered to and all services are compliant with Ring-Fencing regulation
What you’ll bring:
7. A high degree of experience of executing and managing system and technical testing including planning, resource management and issue management
8. Experience with automation testing with the ability to write automated test scrips UI and API
9. Experience with agile development practices, CI/CD and test automation (TDD, BDD, Selenium)
10. Experience with API testing using Postman, Soap UI and Swagger
It would also be nice for you to have:
11. Able to build rapport with project stakeholders and demonstrate influencing skills
12. Knowledge of DevOps approaches and working practices will be an advantage
13. Have experience of working in agile, including an awareness of agile tools and how to use them (such as JIRA and Confluence)
14. Excellent problem solving, analytical skills and technical troubleshooting skills

This is a permanent position and is based from our Milton Keynes (Unity Place) office, our current expectation is at least days in the office every week.
