Position: DBS Sous Chef

Pay Rates:
Monday £18 PAYE - £20.17 Including Holiday Pay
Saturday £19 PAYE - £21.29 Including Holiday Pay
Sunday £20 PAYE - £22.41 including holiday pay
Requirements:
• Must have an enhanced DBS with Adult Workforce (DBS accepted up to 3 years old)
• Must have experience of working in retirement homes.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our client's team in Wellingborough. You will require an Enhanced DBS to proceed with this role; however, we do have other non-DBS roles available.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensure consistency in the food offer throughout the hotel
2. Participate in food ordering and stock rotation
3. Minimize and monitor waste using internal systems
4. Assist in managing financial budgets and targets
5. Manage and develop team members for progression within the kitchen hierarchy
6. Implement and inspire the team with current food trends and cooking techniques
7. Train kitchen, F&B, and sales teams on current products and their delivery
8. Follow company standards and deliver a high degree of success
Who You Are:
1. Excellent culinary skills
2. Experience in a similar role
3. Strong communication and leadership skills
4. Ability to engage and motivate others
5. Willingness to lead by example and inspire the kitchen team with guidance from the Head Chef
6. Ability to maintain processes for efficient working
7. NVQ Level 3 in professional cookery or equivalent
8. Intermediate food hygiene certification
