Job Description
Customer Support Specialist (technical), Basingstoke:
1. Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and chat.
2. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with the company's products.
3. Support basic IT queries on PCs and Macs as well as mobile phones.
4. Guide customers through step-by-step solutions to resolve their technical problems.
5. Document and track customer interactions and technical issues in the CRM system.
6. Collaborate with the technical team to escalate and resolve complex issues.
7. Conduct follow-ups with customers to ensure their issues are fully resolved.
8. Assist in the development of technical support documentation and FAQs.
9. Stay updated on the latest product features and technical advancements.
The Successful Applicant
1. Proven experience in a technical support or customer service role.
2. Potentially from a 1st or 2nd line IT support or a technical customer service role.
3. Knowledge of PCs and Macs and excellent systems skills.
4. Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical customers.
7. Proficient in using CRM software and other support tools.
8. Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
9. A customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
10. Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
What's on Offer
Salary of circa £35,000 to £39,000 plus excellent package.
