Sous Chef
Sous chef required to join a popular food-led pub with rooms, on outskirts of Salisbury in Wiltshire. The property is known for its welcoming atmosphere and exceptional dining. As Sous Chef, you'll be working with the Head Chef and be the driving force behind the creation of seasonal dishes and be passionate about using local farmers & suppliers.

Preferred Requirements:
1. Maintain excellent food and culinary trend knowledge to develop and write menus, recipes, and new dishes
2. Work closely with our local suppliers, manage food costing, and maintain tight stock control
3. Ensure the kitchen maintains exemplary hygiene standards while cooking fresh, seasonal food
4. Contribute to the 'nice place to work' atmosphere with your friendly attitude and great organisational skills
5. Previous kitchen experience is essential, and we'll provide training to support your development
6. Experience of working in a small team and mentoring junior chefs
Preferred Qualifications:
1. You might already be a Junior Sous Chef or a Sous Chef looking to take the next step
2. Experience in hotels, restaurants, corporate catering, or gastro pubs is highly desirable
3. A genuine interest in delighting customers and a passion for creating exceptional dining experiences
4. A stable CV and looking to commit to the growth of the business
