Role Summary To drive the sales of our Legal and Compliance product suite within the UK and European Regions as assigned by the Sales Manager. As a member of the Corporate Sales Team, the focus is on achieving sales excellence to meet or exceed targets through the fulfilment of the sales strategy and penetration into assigned industry. The role primarily requires a constant level of contact with our internal partners and external potential customers, the focus being on developing new business opportunities from new clients who are potentially embedded with competitors. You will create relationships with key contacts within an assigned industry and look to broaden Thomson Reuters’ impact, access and revenue from each organisation. You will create, manage and close a pipeline of new business opportunities from the initial lead creation through to providing the agreed solution to the new client. This will require a high level of consultative work with potential customers. The role has a high profile within Thomson Reuters Corporates and success will open significant opportunities within the business as well as ensuring development on an individual basis. The role is therefore best suited to highly motivated individuals who are ambitious for personal success. Due to the flexible nature of the services we provide there are many opportunities that are non-core and the role therefore requires the individual to be a strategic thinker, commercial in outlook with a strong ability to pioneer. The role also requires total account handling skills, good time management and good organisational skills.
