PSM Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity to work for an awardwinning pub as a Senior Sous Chef based in Elham. The successfulapplicant will be working along side the Executive Head Chef who hasworked in some of the worlds best kitchens of both fine dining andGastro style for the last 25 years. This gives the right candidate anexciting opportunity to be a big part of a beautiful and successfulvenue with fantastic further development opportunities within thisgrowing business.
This role is for individuals with incredibleskill and passion. They need to be dynamic and capable of cooking at arosette awarded level.
Requirements:
- Experience ofat least 10 years in a professional kitchen offering high qualityfresh food.
- Competent, friendly and professional leadershipskills.
- Excellent butchery, fish filleting and pastryskills, capable of running any section within the kitchen
- Atleast Level 2 Certificate in Food Hygiene and Health and Safety (Level3 preferred).
- Full UK Driving License (Own transportessential).
- Enjoys and wants to be an activemember of a team.
-Worked in a Rosette Kitchen environment or to an equivalent standard.
- Working closely with the Executive Chef of the group and theHead Chef at The Kings Arms.
- Taking control of the kitchenwhen the Head Chef is absent.
- Taking control of a sectionwithin service times.
- Assisting with menu and event ideas.
- Stock control and maintaining high standards of health andsafety and cleanliness.
This is a full time position toinclude evenings and weekends.
