We are seeking a dynamic Head Chef to lead an exciting new chapter at Foxhills as we launch a new food & beverage direction in the manor house for 2025. The Head Chef will oversee an innovative Indian concept in the restaurant whilst celebrating the heritage of the quintessentially English country house through the main bar, afternoon tea, conference, and events. You'll have the unique opportunity to shape this new dining experience from scratch, converting The Fox dining rooms (currently holding two AA Rosettes) into a destination, especially for our members and locals alike. Full of ambition and ideas, our new Head Chef will be instrumental in putting this restaurant on the map and, working closely with the Hotel Manager and Executive Chef, will have the freedom to develop our team and collaborate on an inventive new menu for the launch. A varied role with a wide scope of responsibilities involves overseeing the 100-cover restaurant and a la carte offering taking inspiration from Western Indian cuisine, as well as conference and banqueting services and traditional British afternoon tea. We’re looking for a chef with experience in managing large kitchen brigades with a flair for working across multiple international cuisines, particularly Indian. Ideal candidates will have previous Head Chef experience (or be a Senior Sous with experience in managing a team of more than 11, with a track record in premium restaurants or hotels.
