The main functions include: Being responsible for preparing, cooking and managing the Perkins kitchen Responsible for managing & developing the kitchen team Responsible for placing orders, taking in deliveries and ensuring safe & efficient stock holding Responsible for managing the cleanliness of the kitchen and completing due diligence Ensuring legal compliance and maintaining a 5 EHO result Responsible for communicating with the front of house team and other managers Perkins Bar & Bistro is part of the Perkins Family group of venues which include The Carriage Hall, Escabeche and Baresca. Reporting to the Head Chef, you will have the opportunity to create and advise on menus. You will also play a key role in producing food and assisting in service at our stunning events space The Carriage Hall which is situated on the same site. Not only must you be a great chef, but you must also have exceptional organisational skills. The ideal candidate will have a background mix of high-quality restaurant experience in a senior position.
