Technical Sales Executive – Water Treatment & Chemical Storage (Project-Based Sales)

Location: Baston
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
* Technical Consultation & Quotations: Create bespoke and accurate quotations tailored to customer requirements, such as bunded tanks, custom fittings, plastic welding, and chemical compatibility.
* Account Management: Build and manage relationships with customers in the water treatment, chemical storage, and construction sectors, growing each account year-on-year.
* Project Sales: Oversee sales pipelines for complex, project-based sales linked to construction projects, ensuring the successful close of each opportunity.
* Lead Follow-Up: Manage inbound lead follow-ups and outbound calls to prospective customers to maximize sales opportunities.
* Sales Process & CRM Management: Utilize CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot or Salesforce) to track and document all stages of the sales process.
* Product Knowledge: Stay updated on products and industry trends to provide accurate and relevant advice to customers.
Requirements
* Proven experience in technical or industrial sales, ideally within water treatment, chemical storage, or project-based sales for construction projects.
* Familiarity with managing complex sales pipelines linked to industrial or construction industries.
* Experience using CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot or Salesforce) to manage customer data and sales activities.
* Strong consultative sales skills and excellent communication, both written and verbal.
* Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
* Willingness to learn detailed technical product specifications (full training provided).
