We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Black Rock Restaurants.
The Coal Shed is a steak restaurant in the heart of Brighton, celebrating coal roasted rare breed heritage meat and South Coast seafood, inspired by Founder Raz Helalat’s Persian roots.
As a Sous Chef, you will deliver dishes made with quality food and products, prepared with skill and passion. Your passion for food, flexibility, and leadership skills will help you command the respect of the team, supporting the Senior Sous Chef and Head Chef to deliver dishes to the highest standard.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality dishes using fresh, local ingredients.
* Support the Senior Sous Chef and Head Chef in managing the kitchen.
* Ensure Health & Safety rules and regulations are followed.
Skills Required
* A self-motivated, natural team player that thrives under pressure.
* A highly skilled people manager.
* Experience in a busy fresh food kitchen environment.
* A genuine passion for creating the finest dishes.
* Maintain a professional manner whilst working under pressure.
