Are you ready to make your mark? The Holt Exeter is seeking an energetic Head Chef to take charge of our kitchen. This spring we are opening a brand new casual dining restaurant in a buzzing independent venue, right in the centre of Exeter. Be there from the very beginning to help shape, innovate and establish The Holt Exeter as a dining landmark.
We’re looking for:
1. Creative drive to shape a unique menu.
2. Proven expertise in managing a high-performing kitchen team.
3. Understanding of the art of balancing creativity with profitability.
Responsibilities
1. Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation and cooking.
2. Lead and manage kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
3. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
4. Supervise food production processes and manage inventory effectively.
5. Train and mentor team members, enhancing their culinary skills and hospitality knowledge.
6. Collaborate with restaurant management to develop menus and optimize service delivery.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £35,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
