Sales Executive Solve - Reactive Services

As a Reactive Services Sales Exec, you’ll be working with a broad range of customers, from national hotel chains, utilities companies, retailers and even householders across the UK, providing them with rapid solutions for almost every conceivable waste related challenge. Distributor with a warehouse full of old stock that needs to be securely disposed of? You can help. A utilities company closing a site and needs everything cleared and made safe for future use? You’ve got them covered.
You’ll be taking calls and emails, finding solutions to complex waste and resources challenges, working with a mixture of internal and external stakeholders to solve problems quickly, efficiently and compliantly, keeping our customers happy, building great relationships and smashing your sales targets in the process.
As well as working with inbound sales, you’ll also be networking with Biffa’s wider business and building up your own external customer base through active prospecting, managing the sales cycle from first call to getting the order.
We’d like you working in our Aylesbury offices Monday to Friday, 9-5 to start off with, but do a great job, and following on form your probationary period you can work from home up to 2 days a week. We will also need you to attend customer site visits anywhere in the UK from time to time.

Who you are:
* You live in Aylesbury or the surrounding area and can get to us every day.
* You hold a full UK driving licence.
* You have experience working in a desk or field based B2B sales role and a track record of delivering against targets.
* You’re confident, assertive and a quick learner.
* You’ve got an eye for detail, a head for numbers and can work at pace without sacrificing accuracy.
* You’re personable, work well in a team and get on well with others, in person, on the phone and in writing.
* You’re motivated, hungry to deliver, and can manage yourself to hit your KPIs.
* You’re comfortable using Excel, PowerPoint, Word and SharePoint, and you can write clearly and concisely.
* You can work to processes but can also think on your feet.
