Key responsibilities include overseeing a full kitchen team, ensuring efficient services, and maintaining health and safety measures. Additionally, the role involves monitoring suppliers, implementing cost-effective stock control, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness. Other duties include participating in events, liaising with the General Manager and Activities Coordinator, and assisting with complaint resolution.
The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 in Catering or equivalent QCF qualification, a working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A team player with self-motivation, flexibility, and adaptability is required, as well as the ability to organize and prioritize workload under pressure.
