You'll assist in leading the kitchen team during events, ensuring exceptional food quality, efficient preparation, and smooth service for a variety of functions including weddings, corporate events, and private parties. Key Responsibilities: Support Head Chef in planning and executing event operations Lead and supervise kitchen staff during event preparation and service Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency Assist in managing stock levels, ordering, and inventory for event functions Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards Provide hands-on training and mentorship to junior kitchen staff Adapt quickly to changes in event schedules, guest counts, or dietary requirements Collaborate with front-of-house and event planning teams for seamless service delivery Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in a busy kitchen environment, preferably with event or banqueting experience Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent knowledge of food safety, Allergens and hygiene regulations Team-oriented with leadership potential and a can-do attitude Ability to work under pressure and adapt to last-minute changes Culinary qualification or equivalent practical experience At least 2 years' experience in a similar role EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES RBH Hospitality Management is an equal opportunity employer.
