We are looking for a Customer Support Advisor to join us on a part-time basis, supporting the team 3 days a week for a total of 15 hours. Our customer support team is an integral part of Selwood Housing. They are the first point of contact for our residents, dealing with all manner of enquiries, providing information and advice, and aiming for a first time fix whenever possible. Our close-knit team takes pride in delivering an excellent standard of customer service, acting as the link to various departments across Selwood, enabling them to provide effective and timely social housing services. On a typical day you might:
* Receive a range of enquiries from customers, processing and responding to them within set targets, policies and procedures.
* Escalate calls to other areas of the Selwood group in a professional and prompt manner.
* Progress repair requests on behalf of customers, ensuring they are advised of the outcome and all actions are recorded on the CRM system.
Minimum Requirements:
* Good standard of literacy and numeracy (minimum of grade C or above in English and Maths) or equivalent.
* Qualification in customer care or a commitment to achieve this.
* Excellent telephone manner.
* Proven experience of working in a customer service environment.
* Good communication skills, verbal, written and face to face.
* Experience using Microsoft Office tools, specifically Word and Excel.
