Currently undergoing extensive refurbishment, The Crown Inn will reopen its doors in spring 2025 as a vibrant hub in the heart of Herefordshire. Combining great-value pub food with a creative twist, we’ll offer a welcoming, relaxed setting where locals and visitors can enjoy quality, hearty dishes crafted with care.
We’re on the hunt for a full-time Head Chef to lead our kitchen from day one. Whether you’re a talented Senior Sous Chef ready for the opportunity you’ve been waiting for or an experienced Head Chef looking for a fresh challenge, this is your chance to make your mark.
You’ll bring a wealth of culinary experience and know how to run a fast-paced kitchen while working with a close-knit team. From crafting memorable menus that celebrate local flavours to managing food and wage costs, overseeing stock and supplier relationships, maintaining impeccable hygiene standards, and inspiring and training your team—you’ll have the skills and passion to make The Crown Inn a standout destination.

Salary: £40,000–£45,000 per year
