Production Kitchen Manager – Birmingham – 5 days out of 7 - £40,000 per annum
My client is a rapidly growing food production company looking to bring in a new passionate and dedicated Production Kitchen Manager to manage their food manufacturing team, guiding and managing a large team ensuring consistency across the many meals they produce daily and food production standards. This is a management role and you will be entirely responsible for this department.
The duties and responsibilities of the Production Kitchen Manager will be:-
Managing the team of around 30 team members in producing consistently high-quality packaged meals at a large volume daily.
Ensuring all HAACP, COSHH and other food hygiene and health and safety standards and procedures are followed, in line with industry and company policy – this is KEY to this role
Managing the P&L budget, monitoring GP
Assisting and adapting with the growth of the company
The successful candidates will have:-
·Have experience leading a busy industrial kitchen or production kitchen
·Have experience in managing a large kitchen brigade, upwards of 20 team members.
·Have a good knowledge and understand of HAACP, COSHH and RIDDOR both in theory and practically.
.Experience with SALSA or BRCE standards is desirable but not essential
·Have a very strong administrative kitchen background, in regards to food hygiene and safety.
Candidates that have worked in a catering production company/airport catering management level would be ideal!
You will be flexible and work to the needs of the business. Working hours are 8am until 4pm – although this can be discussed at interview
