We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Head Chef to lead the culinary direction at our renowned Crazy Bear Boutique Hotel, which now features a brand-new, state-of-the-art kitchen and a newly opened 40-cover fine-dining restaurant. What Does the Role Include?
As Head Chef, you will be instrumental in delivering an elevated dining experience, blending innovation with the finest seasonal ingredients. You will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations and ensure the highest standards of quality and presentation across à la carte, private dining, and event menus.
* Menu Development: Design and execute innovative menus that align with fine dining standards, celebrating fresh, sustainable, and seasonal produce.
* Team Leadership: Inspire and develop a talented kitchen brigade to deliver excellence consistently.
* Operational Oversight: Manage procurement, stock control, and budgets to achieve operational efficiency.
* Standards and Compliance: Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and uphold exceptional hygiene standards.
* Event Catering: Oversee high-profile private dining and event catering, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail and creativity.
* Previous experience in leading a high-volume and high-end kitchen is essential, and experience in catering for large events is preferable.
What We're Looking For:
We are looking for a senior professional with a proven track record in fine dining establishments. Ideally, you will have:
* Experience working in environments recognised with Rosettes or Michelin stars.
* Strong administrative skills, including GP management, costings, and paperwork compliance.
* Previous experience in hotels is advantageous but not essential.
* Exposure to functions and events is a bonus but not a strict requirement.
