Are you a passionate and driven culinary leader with a flair for luxury events and large-scale catering? We are seeking a Banqueting Head Chef to join our prestigious 5-star hotel and lead our banqueting kitchen to new heights.
About the Role:
As the Banqueting Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our banqueting operations, including weddings, conferences, gala dinners, and VIP events. Working closely with the Executive Chef and Events team, you will ensure impeccable food quality, seamless service, and innovative menu creation that exceeds guest expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and inspire a talented team of chefs and kitchen staff
* Plan and execute menus for events from 20 to 500+ guests
* Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and taste of all dishes
* Manage kitchen operations efficiently, including cost control and hygiene compliance (HACCP)
* Collaborate with Events and F&B teams to deliver world-class experiences
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and professionalism at all times
About You:
* Proven experience as a Banqueting Chef or Head Chef in a luxury hotel or high-end events venue
* Exceptional organisational and leadership skills
* Strong background in high-volume, fine-dining production
* Creative and trend-aware with excellent culinary technique
* Calm under pressure, with a hands-on and can-do attitude
* Relevant culinary qualifications and food safety certifications
