Quest Employment is recruiting for a Sous Chef to join a prestigious fine dining restaurant in Harpenden. As the restaurant continues to grow, we are seeking a talented and experienced chef to support the Michelin-trained Head Chef in elevating the dining experience even further.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Menu Development – Have input into new dishes, specials, and supplier selection.
* Team Leadership – Train and mentor junior chefs, passing on valuable skills.
* Kitchen Management – Oversee kitchen operations in the Head Chef’s absence.
* Quality & Standards – Maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation.
* Health & Safety – Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
* Waste & Cost Control – Monitor wastage and manage supplier relationships effectively.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience in a fine dining, Rosette, or Michelin-level kitchen.
* A passion for food and commitment to excellence.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Availability to work evenings and weekends.
