About the roleAssist the Head Chef in the preparation and cooking of modern British cuisine, with an emphasis on seasonal ingredients, high-quality produce, and elegant yet unfussy dishes Collaborate on the creation of diverse and balanced menus, ensuring a variety of options that cater to different dietary requirements and preferences Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food quality and kitchen hygiene are maintained Assist in the ordering and management of kitchen supplies, ensuring freshness and minimising waste Maintain strict adherence to all health, safety, and hygiene standards in the kitchen Support the culinary team in catering for special events, including meetings, functions, and visits.
