Plastech Ltd are a well-established Supply & Distribution business for Plastic pipe systems. We are looking to recruit a Sales Executive to join our busy Shrewsbury team. Your role will involve taking calls, supporting the depot, and working with the team to grow the business sales whilst actively looking to develop new customers within specific territories. Multitasking and the ability to handle the unexpected are essential qualities to bring to the position.
The key responsibilities will include:
* Managing calls and taking messages professionally and politely, providing an excellent level of customer service at all times.
* Cultivating and maintaining positive relationships with customers, ensuring that any enquiries or sales opportunities are identified and dealt with, and that profitability of these relationships is maximised.
* Following company procedures and processes, ensuring that systems are accurately maintained.
* Going the extra mile and working positively and proactively as part of a team.
* Experience of selling building materials would be an advantage but isn’t essential as training would be provided for the right candidate.
You must be a confident communicator with excellent customer service skills, able to communicate professionally both written and verbally with all levels. You would be required to learn other roles within the depot to support this hands-on busy team and manage your own workload.
You must have strong IT skills and be comfortable using Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with Excel is essential.
Previous experience of working in a builder’s merchants or similar experience is required but isn’t essential as further training would be provided.
Experience:
* Sales: 2 years (Preferred)
* Customer service: 1 year (Required)
Salary and Benefits:

Salary: Up to £80,000.00 per year.
Job Type: Full time, permanent. Your hours would be between 8.00 and 17.00 Mon-Fri.
