Job Description
The opportunity to join our catering team based in Shirebrook will appeal to enthusiastic individuals who are looking for the next stage of their Hospitability career and who have an appetite for knowledge and the drive to progress.
Offering an excellent work life balance working a 40 hour week 4 days over 7 with a kitchen close time of 8pm. Reporting to the Catering Manager you will provide support at the hub of the business as it continues to grow. This role will support both the Kitchen Team and Front of house team to ensure we deliver the best possible service to our colleagues.
Profit:
* Support menu development with the head chef and catering manager, to ensure we provide a combination of healthy, nutritious, exiting meals which are cost effective to produce.
* Actively seek feedback from customers to ensure the food and service options stay relevant and appealing to drive sales and positive reviews.
* Manage stock rotation and support with the management of stock with a focus on reducing waste, ensuring product availability, stock holding, and stock security.
* Complete all daily food safety checks, to include allergens, and food related legislation
Maximise Sales Opportunities:
* Understand the whole patterns and contribute to ideas and give feedback to improve the offer.
* Stay up to date with market and sector trends for dish content and presentation.
People:
* Direct: General Colleague Kitchen/Breakfast/Commis/ Kitchen Porters.
* Assist with all kitchen people processes, induction, and training and complete any training courses required.
* Support the team through their learning journey
* Follow all company food safety policies and health and safety, fire, and security policies.
