About The Role
A hands-on training role within the BrewDog Bars business. Now at over bars worldwide (and growing!), you will be responsible for ensuring our teams are supported to give amazing BrewDog experiences around the planet!
Must have prior experience opening locations as well as experience curating customer service training programs across multi-venue operations and large number of employees. You'll be able to write training materials, work with operations to set and maintain standards and be a customer service excellence champion in our business.
Training will cover all aspects of the hospitality business including beer, the guest journey, service, food safety, H&S, systems and your role will entail being a beacon of knowledge in all these areas.
You will support our training effort and co-ordinate with several different people within the business from operations team, opening managers, franchisees, GM’s whilst reporting into our Head of L&D. You will also be part of our fantastic people team to ensure the overall aspirations of engagement are aligned.
This role is UK field based with occasional world-wide travel for new openings.
SOME KEY FOCUS' OF THIS ROLE:
1. Planning strategic training programmes for our existing bar teams.
2. Utilising, developing, implementing and managing training systems.
3. Supporting our network of regional and site level trainers throughout the business.
4. Reacting to fast paced changes and communicating clearly to our teams.
About You
5. Prior experience in training within a multi-site hospitality group.
6. Certified geek with a passion for hospitality, there is no requirement to know about beer as we can teach you that!
7. Hyper-organised self-starter able to prioritise clearly an urgent/important list to ensure delivery of projects remains on time and to the highest standard possible.
8. Optimistic quick learner. Happy to take on full projects & keen to ask questions to get to the cause.
9. Problem solver and creative outside the box thinker
10. Experience in hospitality openings
11. Excellent written & face to face communication skills with fluent English, other languages would be beneficial but not mandatory
12. Comfortable presenting to a variety of audiences both face to face and virtually
13. Skills in project management
