We are recruiting for a Sales Executive to join an established and forward-thinking logistics company in St Albans.
Working in a team of other sales and internal sales staff, the successful candidate will proactively develop new business and build and nurture existing client relationships to maximise the potential.

1. Up to £30k depending on experience + bonus (OTE £38k-£40k+ in year one)
2. Hours: Mon-Fri, 8.30am-5.30pm, office based

Key Responsibilities
1. New business development through telesales and field sales
2. Key account management
3. Generating and calculating freight quotations / tender documents
4. Drafting and sending appropriate sales correspondence
5. Follow up calls
6. Managing sales process through to closure
7. Developing long lasting relationships with new clients
8. Supporting the sales team in their sales efforts
9. Managing the existing and new client quotes
10. Ensuring that the quotes are completed promptly and are followed up to maximise conversion
What the client is looking for:
1. B2B sales experience
2. Customer service or operations experience
3. Experience of negotiating with clients and or suppliers
4. Key account management experience with proven success of developing relationships
5. Experience of calculating KPI reports
6. Experience of face to face client and supplier meetings
7. Good administrative skills
8. Good numerical skills
9. Good IT skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
