About the Role
If you are currently a head chef or an experienced Sous chef this role could be a great fit for you. As the Head Chef youll play a key role in the kitchen, supporting the other staff in crafting a menu that celebrates local produce and traditional pub classics with a modern twist. Youll help lead a dedicated kitchen team, ensuring that every dish leaves the pass with the highest standard of quality. Key Duties
* Plan menus and create innovative dishes while maintaining cost control working to a pre defined GP target
* Ensure consistency and quality in every dish, from preparation to presentation.
* Maintain a clean and efficient kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative working environment.
* Contribute to the development of new seasonal dishes and specials.
* Assist in Management of inventory and stock
Key Requirements
* Previous experience as a Senior Sous Chef or Head Chef in a high-quality kitchen environment.
* Passion for using fresh, local ingredients and creating seasonal dishes.
* Strong leadership skills and the ability to work under pressure.
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
* A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
