The position of a Sous Chef to help the exec chef maintain an excellent standard of service at a multi-outlet food site near Grantham. As Sous Chef, you will assist in overseeing the food and kitchen operations for dining areas offering different cuisines, atmospheres, and interiors, ranging from fine dining in the brasserie to family-friendly rustic burgers and grills, and a café that also serves afternoon teas. Each food outlet shares a common level of pride in providing quality service while championing seasonal ingredients from both local suppliers and homegrown sources. This is a growing business with further expansion plans, making it an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated and forward-thinking team.
Requirements:
An ambitious, enthusiastic, experienced Sous Chef with a proven track record working in high-quality fresh food establishments that take pride in their service. It is essential that you have a thorough understanding and passion for fresh food and flavors. You must have an understanding of costs and charges relating to food operations and be able to motivate the kitchen team to deliver a consistently high standard of food.
