Location: Preston
We are seeking an enthusiastic, food-passionate Sous Chef to join our clients' friendly team, delivering exceptional experiences for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Head Chef with managing daily kitchen operations.
2. Lead the kitchen team in the Head Chef’s absence.
3. Guide and train junior staff in cooking, food prep, and plating.
4. Manage kitchen stock, food rotation, and quality control.
5. Ensure cooking stations are prepared and stocked, especially during busy times.
6. Train new staff to meet kitchen standards.
7. Help with food ordering, record-keeping, and minimising waste.
8. Supervise food preparation and presentation to maintain quality.
9. Support kitchen organisation, staff development, and training.
10. Ensure food storage meets standards and is well-organised.
11. Collaborate with management on orders, budgets, and staffing.
Hours:
Full-time, 8:30 am–6:00 pm, 5 days a week on a 7-day rota.

Requirements:
1. Ability to commute
2. Minimum 1 year of Sous Chef experience (essential).
Salary:
£25,000–£30,000 per year, based on experience.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, with weekend availability.
