Freight Sales Executive
Location: Shepperton Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + uncapped commission
Are you a dynamic and resilient individual with a passion for sales? I am recruiting for a Freight Sales Executive with 2-3+ years of experience in freight sales, capable of selling all modes of transport.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Cold Calling : Begin with cold calling to build your pipeline. This task requires a thick skin and a proactive attitude.
* Customer Portfolio : Manage your own portfolio of customers.
* Career Development : Take personal responsibility for your career growth and development.
* Quoting : Provide quotes to customers on a shipment-by-shipment basis.
* CRM Pipeline : Build and maintain your CRM pipeline.
* Client Visits : Conduct client visits as needed.
* Client Rapport : Build strong relationships with your clients.
Skills and Experience:
* Experience : Ideally 2-3 years in the shipping, freight forwarding, and logistics industry (not essential).
* Communication : Strong communication and interpersonal skills; confidence is crucial.
* Self-Starter : Ability to thrive under pressure.
* CRM Exposure : Experience with CRM systems is a plus, but training will be provided.
* Cold Calling : Must be comfortable with cold calling as a primary task.
* Freight or Sales Experience : Some experience in either freight or sales.
* Immediate Start : Availability to start immediately.
* Commission : Commission structure available once monthly targets are hit.
