A+T make the world’s toughest and best supported instruments for superyachts, race-boats and those who appreciate excellence. With another year of over 25% revenue growth and nearly 1,000 yachts using A+T, we need more help in sales.
It is a role which offers a marvelous opportunity to go sailing, travel the world, and work at the highest end of marine instrument technology. We are looking for someone proactive and energetic who speaks our customers’ language to work with our Head of Sales, Pete Simmonds, to develop new opportunities and play a key part in the company achieving its ambitious future growth plans.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Deliver against a sales plan, developing new opportunities and maximizing sales.
2. Proactively engage with target customers within the marine industry and work with marketing to develop relevant content.
3. Manage and regularly visit marine electronic dealers as well as key customer accounts ranging from shipyards and refit yards to yacht builders with the aim of maximizing sales opportunities.
4. Conduct sales demonstrations on an extensive electronic product portfolio.
5. Represent the company at regattas, boat shows, and exhibitions such as METS, Amsterdam.
6. Develop an in-depth knowledge of our market and understanding of our product range.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
1. Possess strong marine industry knowledge or a technical sales background with boating experience.
2. Thrive on new challenges, enthusiastic and determined.
3. Action-oriented, extremely well organized, and can multitask effectively.
4. High level of written and spoken English and numerical accuracy.
5. Motivated by achieving and exceeding targets, demonstrating a winning attitude.
6. Comfortable with regular overseas travel.
