We are seeking an experienced Learning Designer and Facilitator to join our People & Culture team. This new role is responsible for designing and developing engaging learning content and structured learning pathways to support the capability development of our people.
An immediate and strategic priority is the development of targeted learning content and programs by role family across the company, ensuring employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to support clients on our new client platform. This requires the creation of structured learning paths for both current and new employees. Working closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), this role will also support the delivery of learning programs, either directly or through a ‘train the trainer’ model, ensuring the effective transfer of knowledge and skills across the organisation.
What you do
Learning Design & Development
* Develop and design structured learning pathways and content to meet identified learning needs.
* Review and enhance existing content, transforming it into structured, engaging, and interactive training modules that cater to various learning styles and formats.
* Develop digital learning content, including micro-learning, e-learning modules, interactive materials, and videos. Manage the Learning Portal (or similar platform) to ensure content is current and available for learners to access as they progress through their learning pathway.
Training Delivery & Facilitation
* Partner with SMEs to design and deliver high-quality training content that aligns with business objectives.
* Facilitate training sessions directly or support delivery through a train-the-trainer model to enable knowledge transfer at scale.
* Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure training materials are relevant, accurate and aligned with business needs.
* Develop assessment tools to measure training effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
* Gather and analyse feedback to continuously refine and enhance learning programs.
* Track and report on training activities, participant progress, and overall program impact.
Project Management & Stakeholder Engagement
* Work closely with Product Managers, SMEs, and business stakeholders to ensure learning programs are aligned with business goals.
* Project manage learning initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic priorities.
* Liaise with external providers and internal teams to create cohesive and high-quality learning experiences.
Qualifications
What you bring
* Tertiary qualifications in Education, Training, Human Resources or a related field.
* Minimum of 7 years of experience in learning and development including content design and facilitation.
* Experience in the design and delivery of Sales training programs is an advantage.
* Extensive expertise in instructional design, learning content development, and designing structured learning pathways.
* Proficiency in using e-learning platforms and digital learning tools to create engaging content.
* Experience in LMS (Learning Management Systems) administration and management.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
* Ability to liaise with SMEs to develop high-quality learning materials.
* Experience in the design and delivery of both face-to-face and digital learning programs.
* Ability to plan and structure learning content, activities and desired learning outcomes.
* Hands-on experience in storyboarding, video editing, and video transcription.
* Proven ability to manage multiple learning projects from design to implementation.
* Experience in large-scale training initiatives within a global or cross-cultural environment.
* Proficient stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
