Sales Executive Location : Bourne (Hybrid) Salary : £27000 - £33000 Hours : (Apply online only) The role is to generate sales by conducting outbound and receiving incoming sales calls and electronic interactions with customers. The primary function is to promote and sell the full product range to potential and current customers, to generate sales and market growth for the business. The role will involve managing the customer database on a proactive customer relations basis, making monthly contact with current customers and developing leads to acquire new customers. Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities: Delivery of the budgeted sales and gross margin for allocated accounts. Achieve weekly & monthly call targets. Retain existing business revenues. Effectively plan and schedule calls to ensure that opportunities are maximised with the right customers at the right time. Collaborate with CS, Stock Control & Finance teams to ensure all customer interactions are managed professionally and effectively; from order queries, stock queries and returns to account applications, complaints, customer payments/ arrears etc. Ensure CRM is fully utilised; all customer meetings, contacts, calls/ activities and sales pipeline movement must be recorded and updated in a timeous fashion. Arrange customer samples, literature and stationery as required. Follow up on quotations and sample requests. Work in partnership with the Field Sales Team (External Sales). Exhibit at trade shows and exhibitions. Potential to do some joint customer visits with Field Sales. Develop leads and identify business opportunities with new distribution partners and present these to the Sales Manager for review. Deal with basic technical enquiries and provide product information. Use and share all approved marketing and sales support media to ensure that product information, service information and NPD is consistently communicated to our Distribution partners. Completely understand the customer needs to develop insights and gain competitive advantage. Identify and develop strong relationships with the key customer stakeholders who can deliver real value. Negotiate Trading Agreements as required. Be involved in decision-making processes as required. Knowledge, Qualifications & Skills: Strong sales skills -2 years sales experience. Highly motivated, Target- driven. Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable working independently and collaboratively both with the team and cross functionally. Credible and skilled in developing excellent customer relationships. Commercially astute and skilled in delivering customer solutions. Analytical and able to present and report accurate data.
